György Orbán (1947) is one of the best-known and most played Hungarian composers of our time thanks to his rich and versatile choral art.


His Latin motets and masses are sung worldwide, from America to the Far East. He is one of the defining composers of his generation in Hungary, recognized with numerous professional awards. He is an extremely prolific composer, his work covers almost all important musical genres. This volume provides a summary of his work for the first time, supplemented by a list of his works and a selected bibliography.
