Compositions by Péter Tornyai, Máté Balogh and László Sándor
10 March 2025. 6:00 pm
Budapest Music Center - Library
1093 Budapest, Mátyás u. 8.
This is the seventh time that the three composers hold a joint composers' evening, as usual, near the beginning of the year. The only concert in the series, launched in 2018, has so far been cancelled in 2021 due to the Covid epidemic (in 2020, the February concert just beat the closures). Many compositions by Máté Balogh, László Sándor and Péter Tornyai have been performed at these concerts, including a number of premieres. The instrumental combinations were also varied, with many excellent ensembles, soloists, choirs and singers taking part, including the composers themselves, sometimes with instruments and sometimes as conductors. This concert features the Weiner Ensemble - Réka Baksai, Máté Bán, Imre Dani, Janka Jámbor, Csaba Pálfi - as well as Erzsébet Seleljo, András Szalai, Zsanett Szatzker and Zsuzsi Tornyainé Dóry.
