Baksai Réka

Réka Baksai is a doctoral student at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music and from 2014 September she is a member of Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra. Beside the orchestral work Réka is an active chamber musician as well, she is a founder member of the Weiner Ensemble and Classicus String Quartet.
At the last half decade she has won several prizes at international competitions for instance at the T.I.M. International Competition (3rd prize) and at the Summa Cum Laude Internation Music Festival in Austria, where she received 1st prize as a member of the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra
She has developed her skills at numerous masterclasses with artists such as Gyula Stuller, Katalin Sebestyén, Simon Standage and Kristóf Baráti.
