He was born in Budapest in 1974. He studied in Béla Bartók Conservatory and Teachers' Training College of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music. 1995-1997 he was the member of Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra headed by Claudio Abbado. 1997-1998 he worked at Budapest Festival Orchestra. He won the prize of Best double-bass player on Jazz Juniors competition in Krakow in 1995, and the second place on the International Double-bass Competition in Debrecen in 1997. He was the vice of the jury of the Jazz Double-bass Talent Scout Competition of Hungarian Radio. From secondary school years he has been keeping taking part in Hungarian jazz life, and he has been playing together with numerous renowned artists like Kirk Lightsey, Benny Bailey, Tony Lakatos, Erik Truffaz, Snétberger Ferenc, Jack De Johnette, Ray Anderson, Frank London, Palle Mikkelborg.
