Zádori Mária

Mária Zádori began her vocal studies in Nagykanizsa. In 1975, she won Hungarian Radio and Television's talent show "Ki mit tud?". She was a founder member of the Ars Renata ensemble, the Hungarian Bach Society and the Hungarian Ancient Music Society. For fifteen years, she was a member of the Hungarian Radio and Television Choir. She has made over 40 CDs, the majority with Capella Savaria. She has won "Record of the Year Award" four times. Her repertoire extends from the 16th century to the 19th. She has performed in virtually all of the countries of Europe, as well as in Australia, the United States and Israel. She has worked with many of the top ancient music conductors of our era, including Ton Koopman, Nicholas McGegan, Hermann Max and Giovanni Antonini. In 2018 she was awarded with Kossuth Award.
