Barabás Lõrinc was born in Budapest, on the 10th of March, 1983. He started playing the trumpet at the age of twelve, in the Szabolcsi Bence Music School where he studied classical music. Between 1999 and 2002 he is a student at the Kõbányai Zenei Stúdió. He earned his University Diploma at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, on the Faculty of Jazz, where he studied jazz and other musical styles. His mentors were Krisztina Nemes and Kornél Fekete-Kovács.
He has been a member of several jazz and pop bands, and also played in a symphonic orchestra. Currently he is the member of the bands Soulwhat, Irie Maffia and The Uptown Felaz. With the latter he also composed an award winning sound track for the movie "Kész Cirkusz".
He started attending the Gimmeshot parties on the summer of 2004, where he got to know Márton Élõ (Dermot). His cooperation with DJ-s began at this time. He played together with Nicola Conte in 2006. He likes listening to all kinds of music.
