Julianna Fábián was born in Budapest, 09.07.1980. Her musical studies were grounded at the Petõfi Sándor Elementary School's music department, where she studied classical piano. Later she earned a diploma at the Budapest Business School. Parallel to this she has studied in the Etûd Music School (2001-2003) learning the basics of jazz, tutored by Bea Munkácsi and Gábor Winand.
After studying two years of singing she was accepted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, on the Faculty of Jazz. Currently she is a graduate, her mentor is Tamás Berki. Besides her mature, emphatic way of performance, her improvisative skills and her sense for style is also significantly developed.
Julianna is a member in several formations. Her own jazz quartette "Just in Time" is present since more then a year in Hungarian jazz life. They had concerts in numerous clubs and several festivals, e.g. Jazztergom festival, Sziget festival, Columbus Jazzklub, and the latest, on the stage of A38 as the fore-band of the blues legend Roben Ford. Besides the above, Julianna is a frequent guest of the Gyárfás István Triplet, the Coolmen Triplet, and has also sung with Aladár Pege's band, the Budapest Jazz Orchestra. She has preformed repeatedly in the marble room of the Hungarian Radio (Magyar Rádió) and recently she had her own performance in one of Berlin's most illustrious jazz clubs.
