Miki Birta jazz-fusion guitarist, composer, arranger, teacher.
His first album came out in 1998 (Next Generation), which is a trio album. Outside of his home country he has had a number of performances and tours in New York , Florida, Germany, Poland, England, Latvia, Slovakia, Romania, Austria, and Italy.
At home he has performed on albums or at concerts in Pál Vasvári's project with: Mike Stern, Dave Samuels, Paco Sery, Henrik Gembalski, and Jose Torres,in the Péter Szendőfi solo projct with Gary Willis, and the others projects with Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, Tony Lakatos. He performed on an album and at concert in Poland (also with his own compositions) with the sax player Bill Evans, Steve Logan, Cris Zawadzky, and Bernard Maseli. In 2004 he was a finalist at the 50 years� Fender Stratocaster Europe Contest in England.
He was honored with Artisjus Prize in 2022.
