Judit Andrejszki is an emblematic figure in the scene of Hungarian Early music. She graduated as a student of organ master Lehotka Gabor. She trained in baroque voice technique from countertenor M. Bornus-Szczycinski in Poland. Her studies in Warsaw continued in Austria, England and Holland where she further specialized in historically informed performance and basso continuo accompaniment with renowned teachers.
As a winner of the special prize of the International Baroque Singing Contest in Hungary it is among her priorities to perform pieces of Hungarian Early music and make them known to a wider public. She has been a member of Musica Profana, an Early music group where she is a singer and a harpsichord player. The band have released several CDs and have been touring ambassadors of Hungarian musical culture. Judit is also member of the Corvina Consort vocal ensemble. In the ´Renaissance year´ in 2008 on her tour as a soloist in India she had outstanding success with her Early music concerts. She has been guest artist as a singer and instrumentalist in leading chamber music groups and vocal ensembles in Hungary.
She regularly teaches in different early music summer schools. 2009 saw her move of interest from Early music towards folk music when she began a workshop project with Sebestyen Marta. In their organ and harpsichord continuo accompanied folk songs and juxtaposition of historically informed performance songs and folk songs they reveal the hidden correlation between these two musical cultures. This inspiring artistic encounter both in a musical and personal aspect is a marked pillar in Judit´s present professional career.
