After completing her undergraduate studies at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Elizabet Ferge went on to study at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where she is due to graduate at the end of October. To mark this important milestone, she is now sharing the programme for her graduation recital with the Library’s audience. The programme ranges from the timeless masterpieces of Bach and Renié, through works by two 20th-century Hungarian composers, to a new work by the young contemporary composer Márk Csernovszky. This selection reflects the defining musical experiences and artistic outlook of the young harpist over the past few years – from Baroque traditions to contemporary soundscapes.
