Zsófia Környei was born in Győr (1975). She was ten years-old when she was admitted to the Preparatory Section of Music Academy, to the class of special talents. She played at successful concerts in concerthalls across Europe, the USA and Far-East.
Besides her father Hungarian and foreign masters taught her: András Kiss, Ferenc Rados, Dénes Zsigmondy, Béla Bánfalvi, Mrs. Magdolna Tavasz, Igor Ozim, Yfhran Neumann, Yehudi Menuhin, Tibor Varga and Ruggiero Ricci. In 1998 she took a summa cum laude degreeat Ferenc Liszt University of Music, of which she is a teacher today.
Since 1997 she is the concertmaster of Matáv Symphony Orchestra. She won several contests, her solo and chamber-orchestra concerts were recorded by radio and television stations in Hungary and in foreign countries.
