After finishing the Secondary School of Music in Budapest, he continued his studies at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, where he received his Diploma of Trumpet Artist. In 1988 he won a scholarship of Soros Foundation-Scientific Academy of Hungary, also he studied ancient music at the Royal Conservatory of Hague in Netherland. His masters were P. Masseurs, S. Williams, S. Kuijken and Fr. Bruggen. Presently he performs and records CDs as a soloist and chamber musician with a variaty of ancient music orchestras. Since 1989 as member of the Pro Arte Serenissima Chamber Orchestra (Italy) he performs in European countries such as Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Holland, England and also in Israel. In 1989 he was guest soloist of Edward H. Tarr´s CD recording of The Emperor´s Trumpet (Editio Christophorus). Since 1990 he has been recording and performing with ancient music orchestras like Capella Savaria, Concerto Armonico and Orfeo. In 1991 he established Sonatores Pannoniae. Later that year, he had a lecture with great success on the history of musical instruments at the National Museum of Hungary, and also he participated as soloist in concerts directed by Agostino Bortot, Italian organist. In 1992 he was performed on the World´s Fair in Sevilla, Spain. In 1993 Mr. Borsódy started a European tour as a soloist in concerts of J.S. Bach´s II. Brandenburg Concerto. From 1994 he had played as soloist with the Budapest Festival Orchestra. In 1996 he recorded his first solo album with Hungaroton (Telemann: Solo Cantatas). In 1997 he was on concert tour in Argentina, and teaching baroque trumpet in Buenos Aires.
