After graduating from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 1986, she was a harp teacher at Bartók Béla Secondary School of Music. In 1988 she participated in the Harp World Congress in Vienna as a soloist. She started her solo career in 1993, after giving a very successful concert at the Music Academy. She has given several performances in Hungary; the Hungarian Radio and Television has recordings of her performance. Between 1992 and 95 she recorded 8 albums on the Capriccio label. As a member of various symphony orchestras - the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, the Budapest Strauss Orchestra - she toured almost all European countries, including Austria, Germany, France, the Netherlans, Spain, Italy, etc. Since 1993 she has regularly played with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, in the season of 1993/94 in Berlin and in Lisboa, as well as at the Salzburg Festival. She also took part in the BFO's 1995 Europe Tour when Sir Georg Solti was conducting. She also performed in the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1996 Ms.Vígh became a professor at the Liszt Ferenc Academy. In 2020 she received the Merited Artist of Hungary award.
