Attila Fekete is a tenor and graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music in 1999. He has been a member of the Budapest Opera House and the Debrecen Csokonai Theatre since 1998, where he soon made a name for himself with his interpretations of lyric tenor roles. He is much in demand as a concert singer, and has been a guest in many European metropolises, as well as in Japan and America. He has played Pollione in Norma, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Cassio in Otello, Froh in Rheingeld, the title role of László Hunyadi, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi and the title role of Faust. He was a soloist with the National Philharmonic Orchestra on its tour in the UK in 2003, when he sang Rachmaninov songs in new orchestrations by Zoltán Kocsis.
