Born in th 19th of February 1999, the Hungarian Bence Temesvári began playing cello at the age of six. In 2015 he began studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Robert Nagy, Peter Somodari and István Várdai.
Bence has enjoyed considerable international competition success: David Popper Competition (1st –Hungary, 2017), Talents for Europe (2nd, 2018; 1st and Grand Prix, 2019, Slovakia), Mahler Competition (1st, Absolute win - Czech Republic, 2019), Danubia Talents International Competition (Absolute 1st Prize – Vienna, 2020), International Competition (1st – Treviso, Italy, 2020). I won full scholarships for the Chamber music course of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra (Slovenia, 2015), Interlochen Center for the Arts, Summer Camp (USA, 2016, 2017), European Union Youth Orchestra (2019, 2020, 2021) and Pacific Music Festival (Japan, 2018, 2020, 2021). In 2021 he won a two years scholarship for the Academy of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
He has been assistant principal (cello) of the Wiener Symphoniker from 2022. He was awarded with Junior Prima Prize in 2023.
