Mónika Ruth Vida was born on the 11th of January 1996 in Budapest. Her first piano teachers were Ilona Baksainé Csitári and Erika Hornyánszkyné Becht at Pál Járdányi Music School. In 2009 she was admitted to School for Exceptional Young Talents of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary. She graduated in 2016, then she completed a master's degree in 2020. Her professors were Gábor Eckhart, Péter Nagy, Katalin Falvai and János Balázs. She has taken part several times in Lívia Rév's master courses in Paris and she has spent 8 months in Italy with Erasmus Plus Program. She has been honoured by the Italian Parliament for her musical achievements in 2017.

She has performed throughout Europe, and also in Africa, Asia and the United States. She has appeared at the Expo world exhibition in Shanghai. She is a laureate of numerous international piano, organ and chamber music competitions in Europe and the US. She won her first international competition in Serbia at the age of fourteen (V. Isidor Bajic International Piano Competition, 2010), and one of her most recent accolades was second place in the Encontro Mundial de Piano de Coimbra in Portugal in 2020. In the same year she was awarded the Junior Prima Award too. She is dedicating her life for sharing the love and the healing power of music worldwide.

Beside her solo career she is a member of Trio Energico.
