Márton Sűtő was born in 1978. He first studied classical trumpet in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he lived as a child. In 1993, back in Hungary, he started the guitar and went into jazz under direction of Gábor Juhász, renowned hungarian jazz guitarist. He attended the Academy of Music of Budapest between 2000 and 2004 and got some nice prizes.

He founded the Smárton Trio in 2003 with classmates and is also member of Kiss Erzsi Music since the same year.
