Redő Dániel

Born in December of 1976 in Budapest. He starts to play percussion at the age of twelve. At first he learns to play the gardon (folk percussion instrument) along with the basic of the rhythm-world of Hungarian folk music from Pál Havasréti. Later in other styles he develops self-taught. As second instrument he learns classic and jazz piano from Judit Lukacs, Greg Foldvari and Tibor Markus.
In 1995 his founder of the etno-jazz band The Melting Pot in the United States.In 1995 he graduated in Cumberland Valley High School in Pennsylvania. After going home, between 97 and 98 he joins the band Meszkalin and between 97 and 99 he joins Hey Band which plays sefard music. From 1998, he is member of the band: called Tropical TransForm playing latin-jazz-funk. Between 99 and 2000 he joins the traditional flamenco band: Fuego del Flamenco. In 1999 he collaborates on there album.
The greatest influences to his playing are: Giovanni Hidalgo, Munyungo Jackson, Kornel Horvath and Don Alias.
