She began her piano studies at the age of five, and in 1985 she was admitted to the Béla Bartók Music High School, where she studied for three years under Lehel Both, and later with Annamária Krause. In 1989 she received first prize at the Fifth Békéstarhos National Piano Competition for Specialist High School Students, and sixth prize at the Senigallia International Piano Competition. Since 1990 she has been a student of Edit Hambalkó at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music. She often takes part in chamber music concerts under the direction of her teachers János Devich, Sándor Devich and Márta Gulyás. In 1991 she won the principal prize of an Austrian music festival, and subsequently was invited by the Austrian Radio to make a recording, which she did in Vienna in 1992. That same year she shared the first prize in the Mozart Piano Competition at the Academy of Music, and in 1993 she won second prize at the Academys Chopin Competition. Since 1990 she has taken part in festivals and benefit concerts in Hungary and abroad as a member of chamber ensembles or as a soloist.
