Received his cello-artist diploma of the Academy of Music in Budapest as student of Csaba Onczay in 1996. From 1996 student of János Starker at the Indiana University in the USA. In 1986 and 1991 1st prize winner of the Hungarian National Competitions and Gold Medalist of the Popper Competition in Budapest. Prize winner of many international cello competitions. In 1992 he gave a recital at the Festival Musikalische Talenete Europas to President Bush and Chancellor Kohl. In 1993 winner of the Principal Prize of the Festival Young European Strings. In 1994-95 he succesfully played an audition for the title of solocellist for two international music festivals, namely the Classical Winter in Jerusalem (Israel) and the Pacific Music Festival (Japan), and could have worked together with such conductors as Lorin Maazel, Christoph Eschenbach, Michael Tilson Thomas. In 1997 he won the grand prize of the Piatigorsky Cello Seminar in Los Angeles. Regulary perform as a soloist in Europe, in the USA, in Japan, in Israel, three CDs were published with his cello playing.
