Lectured at the Faculty of Music of Eötvös Loránd University as the Head of Faculty and has been the chorus master of the Pro Musica Hungarica mixed choir of the Faculty from 1986. Prof Éva Kollár has been the head of the Faculty of Music Teaching and Choir Conducting of Franz Liszt Academy of Music since 1997. She has given lectures and courses in several European countries and in Canada. She has been a member of the jury at various international choir competitions. She was awarded the Franz Liszt Prize state honor in 1994. She obtained her doctoral degree (Doctor of Liberal Arts) at Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 1997. Founder and conductor of the Budapest Monteverdi Choir.
