Born in Szeghalom, 1977. Between the age of 9-18 he studies to play the piano and trumpet at the local music school. In his high school years, his interest turns to play the guitar; his teacher was István Kincses.
As of 1995 he attends the jazz guitar faculty of Postás Music School, and in 1997 he continues his studies at Ferenc Lisz Music Academy. His professors were Gyula Babos and Sándor Horányi.
From 1991-2001 he is the member of Budapest Jazz Orchestra. In 2000 he is placed the second by jury chaired by Pat Metheny at Attila Zoller Jazz Guitar Competition organized by the Hungarian Radio. In 2001 he receives a scholarship at Berklee College of Music, Perugia, where he pursues his studies at the Faculty of Professional Music from 2001 to 2004. His professors were Jon Damian, John Wilkins and Mick Goodrick. In 2003 he receives Stephen Howard award. After his graduation in 2004, he returns to Hungary and founds his own quartet which records their album "Work In Progress" the same year. Also since 2004, he has been a member of Kristof Bacso 4.
