She was graduating from the Szeged Conservatory, where her teachers were Lajos Huszár (composition), and Richard Weininger (harp). In 1978 she continued her studies at the Tschaikowsky Conservatory in Moscow in the class of Vera Dulova. In 1984-98 Melinda Felletar was solo harpist of the Szeged Symphony Orchestra and the National Theater of Szeged. Since 1985 she gave many concerts in Hungary and abroad and she had been invited several times as a soloist to perform the works of Händel, Vivaldi, Damase, Boieldieu, Frank Martin, Debussy, Mozart, Tournier, Weiner Bernstein, Glier, Ginastera, Pierné. From 1998 she is solo harpist of Matav Symphony Orchestra. She is professor of the Szeged Conservatory of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music of Budapest since 1990.
