He studied at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Budapest. He was a leader of the cello section of the National Philharamonic Orchesra (1977), the Austrian-Hungarian Philharmonic Orchestra (1986) and the Weiner Kammerorchestre (1996). Since 1994 he is a member of the Festetics String Quartet.
