With János Pilinszky´s death in 1981, the possibility of live performances ceased to exist. The only sources of the original composition are the Hungaroton releases LPX-13878, 1986 and HCD-31290, 1990, based on the same live recording of a performance given by János Pilinszky, Zoltán Kocsis, and György Kurtág in 1975
