2. A lány első hívogatója (klarinétszóló), melyre megjelenik az öreg gavallér, akit végül kidobnak / The girl’s first inviting gestures (clarinet solo), in response to which the old gentleman appears, who gets thrown out in the end by the hoodlums
3. A lány második hívogatója, melyre megjelenik a fiú, akit szintén kidobnak / The girl’s second inviting gestures, upon which appears the young lad, who is also thrown out
4. A lány harmadik hívogatója, erre a mandarin jelenik meg (tutti ff) / The girl’s third inviting gestures. The mandarin appears (tutti ff)
5. A lány csábítótánca (lassabb, majd gyorsabb valcer) / The girl’s seductive dance before the mandarin (at first slow, then increasingly faster Waltz)
