He studied composition under Rezső Sugár at the Bartók Béla Specialized Secondary School of Music, and from 1963 to 1968 at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music as a student of Ferenc Farkas. In 1968-69 he continued his studies with a scholarship in Warsaw, concentrating on electronic music. In the early 1970s his interest shifted to pop music, which he practiced successfully for some years, both as a composer and a performer. Starting with 1974, six of his independent electronic works were recorded by Hungarian Radios Electronic Music Studio. In recent years Victor has mainly attracted attention with musicals and music for stage plays.
