Zsolt Ber was born in 1967 in Budapest, Hungary. He started his musical studies with piano; then he has switched to the instrument trumpet at Erkel Gyula Music School of Ujpest. He finished the Bartók Bela Conservatory of Music, jazz department in 1989. He graduated at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2004.

He has been playing in the productions of Rock Theatre, Radnóti Theatre, Jozsef Attila Theatre, Madách Theatre. He has also participated in some TV shows like Friderikusz show, Szulak show.

At the moment, he is a member of Jazzsteps and Ungár Showband, as well.
