Transparent Sound 2026 | Film Club 3 - Meteo
As part of a joint event by Budapesti Moziestek and the Transparent Sound New Music Festival, audiences will have the opportunity to see the cult film by András Monory Mész in a newly restored image and sound. Connected to the distinctive cyberpunk, dystopian, and post-apocalyptic film trends of the 1980s, Meteo reveals a Budapest that no longer exists - and perhaps was already hidden even at the time of filming in 1988.
Following the screening, the film’s two composers, János Másik and Tibor Szemző, will join a discussion moderated by film critic László Kolozsi and composer Marcell Dargay.
