Featuring:
  • Tímea Fábián - flute
  • Róza Bene - harpsichord

Tímea Fábián and Róza Bene present the main stylistic trends of Baroque flute-harpsichord sonatas in a three-part concert series at the BMC Library. The program features a German concert, a French concert, and a concert of Johann Sebastian Bach's flute-harpsichord sonatas. In addition to the sonatas, each concert will also feature solo harpsichord pieces, providing a broader insight into the respective style of the era alongside the duo sonatas. Tímea Fábián will perform on an authentic Buffardin flute crafted by Martin Wenner, as well as the Denner-Stanesby flute model by Philippe-Allain Dupré. Róza Bene plays the harpsichord of the BMC Library – a replica of Anton Rückers' 1640 instrument built by Titus Krijnen in 2022.

Free entry! Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
