The Pax et Bonum Chamber Choir presents a selection from the varied choral works of Máté Balogh, Erkel Prize and Junior Príma Prize-winning composer. The concert will offer adventures to special genres: recitative choir, drinking song, post-spiritual and Zulu folk songs, all reflecting Balogh's witty choice of themes and his innovative ways of approaching choirs. In his compositons, Máté Balogh has adapted texts by Miklós Kis Misztótfalusi, Gabrielle von Baumberg, Edward Lear, James Joyce and Renato Fehér.
Poet Renátó Fehér - Máté Balogh's regular collaborator - will discuss the compositions on the concert's program with the composer.
