Gergely Szurgyi graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2019 and obtained his master's degree from the Nuremberg University of Music in 2022. He has successfully competed in numerous competitions as a soloist, and with the Tritonus Guitar Trio, he won the 2019 Guitar Foundation of America Ensemble Competition in Miami.
His first solo album, Scordatura, was released in 2024 and won the "Album of the Year" award in the solo guitar category on nativedsd.com, receiving the most votes in all categories as the audience award winner.
His album release concert promises to be one of the most exciting programs in the Guitar Music series.
