She began her violin studies at the age of seven. In 1981 she was admitted to the Béla Bartók Music High School, where she continued her studies under Béla Bánfalvi and József Szász. In 1985 she became a student of Eszter Perényi at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, received her diploma from the Academy in 1990, and became a fellowship soloist of the National Philharmonia. Ms. Viniczai has received numerous prizes in various competitions, including second, first and special prize in the National Violin Competition in 1977, 1980 and 1989. In 1986 she received first and second prizes several times in the annual competitions organized by the Academy of Music, and has been awarded first prize several times for performance of works by contemporary Hungarian composers. Ms. Viniczais plays have been broadcasted on the Hungarian Radio. She frequently includes contemporary pieces on her concerts in Hungary and abroad, for example in Rimini, Prague and Berlin. Since 1989 Ms. Viniczai has regularly participated in the master classes of Professor Dénes Zsigmondy in Salzburg, Trani and Berlin, and in 1990 was a pupil of Professor Thomas Brandis at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste. Since 1993 she has been the concert mistress of the Ernő Dohnányi Symphony Orchestra, and has been a member of the Budapest Chamber Symphony (in Hungary Weiner-Szász Chamber Orchestra) since 1994.
