She is a native of Budapest and has received her Music Degree from the Liszt Ferenc University of Music. Then she studied under the supervision of Tibor Rácz in Bratislava for two years. Katalin is a founding member of the Hungarian Accordion Society. She was a silver (1996) and gold (1997) medal winner in the Hungarian Accordion Competition. Her musical career has encompassed a wide range of solo and ensemble performances with orchestras, accordion groups and theaters. She plays not only various classical arrangements for accordion but also pop and jazz. She is an active member of the Hungarian theatre life.
