She started to play the piano at the age of eight, and started to play the cimbalom at the age of twelve. She continued her studies at the Béla Bartók Music Secondary School.
First appeared on stage at the age of sixteen, when she played for a month with her teacher, Ágnes Szakály at the La Fenice Opera in Venice. Since then, they have often played in duo, and they have made several radio, television and CDs recordings together. At the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, Ilona Szeverényi was her teacher. During the student years she played with the Budapest Concert Orchestra (MÁV), the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Budapest Symphony Orchestra (the Radio orchestra), with the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Klangforum Wien, the Verdi Orchestra in Milan, the Sjaellands Symfonik Orkester in Coppenhagen. Graduated in 1993, earning a cimbalom teacher and chamber artist degree. Since 1991 she works as a teacher at the Aladár Tóth Music School.
Besides classical pieces, she also plays contemporary music, such as the works of Kamilló Lendvay, József Sári, Máté Hollós, Attila Reményi, Péter Durkó, Miklós Lukács, Balázs Horváth and Mária Antal. As a result of her work in this field, she won the Artisjus Award three times. She was Annie Fischer Scholarship holder in 1998 and in 1999.
