Violinist Anna was born in Budapest in 1972. She studied with Eszter Perényi in 1990-91, and then continued her studies in 1991 in Detmold and Berlin. In 1997, she graduated from the Hans Eisler Music College. While studying in Germany, she played in a number of orchestras and attended masterclasses conducted by Dénes Zsigmondy, Lórránd Fenyves, Thomas Zehetmayr, and Saschko Gavrilov. She returned to Hungary in 1997 and was one of the founder members of UMZE and became its concert master. She is an important participant in Hungarys contemporary music scene and has made a number of recordings for the BMC record label (Eötvös, Sáry, Tihanyi, Dukay).
