Violinist Zoltán Tuska was born in 1967. He studied at the Music Academy where he was a student of József Szász, Béla Bánfalvi and András Csontha. He graduated in 1991 and in 1992, undertook further studies with Loránd Fenyves in Canada. In 1993, he became the concertmaster of the WeinerSzász Chamber Orchestra (Budapest Chamber Symphony). In 1998-2001 he was the principal violin at the Solti Chamber Orchestra. Since 1998, he has also been the first violin of the Danubius Quartet. He has also performs with foreign ensembles (Salzburg Chamber Philharmonic, European Soloists Luxemburg, Amade Münster Chamber Philharmonic. He regularly participates in chamber music festivals (Salzburg, Ittingen, Vicenza) and holds a masterclass in Bolzano. He won Kossuth Prize in 2022 as a member of Kodály Quartet.
