Date of Birth
As a soloist she started a career having had several years' experience (Girls of Győr, Choir Schola Hungarica, Chamber Ensemble Machaut, Tomkins Vocal Ensemble of Budapest). She graduated on piano faculty at the Music Conservatory in Győr, Hungary, and then got a choir-master diploma at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. Her instruction in singing was performed by Anna Pauk and Hilda Gődel Vági. In many of the world's lands have been concerts given by her, one of the founding members of Tomkins Vocal Ensemble. At her song recitals rarities of song repertoire can also be enjoyed (preclassical songs, and songs composed by Chopin and Rahmaninoff etc.). She made a debut, as an opera singer, in László Sáry's opus In Sol, and in Purcell's opera Dido and Aeneas. Her repertoire is extremely wide; she has proficiency in all of the styles ranging from Gregorian chant to contemporary music. Her name is associated with several world premieres as well as premieres in Hungary; contemporary composers often dedicate their music to her.
She was awarded the Liszt Prize in 2015.
