She was born in Csorna on 29 August 1958. She started her violin studies at the local music school at the age of 7. Then she attended the Music Conservatory in Győr from 1972 to 1976. After that she studied at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in the class of Eszter Perényi.
She is a founding member of Budapest Strings and she has been a teacher of Leó Weiner Conservatory since 1992.
