He took his degree in clarinet at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 1997 as Béla Kovács’s student. In 1993, he was admitted to the Orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera House. He won first prize at the Paris International Clarinet Music Competition in 1996. He has been the clarinet soloist of the Gustav Mahler Symphony Orchestra since 1999.
