Zsuzsanna Ittzés was admitted to the Liszt Academy of Music in 1986, where she graduated as a flute teacher in 1992. Between 2003 and 2006 she attended the University of Pécs, specialising in art therapy/music therapy.
From 1991 to 1997 she was a flute teacher at the Vác Music Secondary School, during which time (1992-1994) she was awarded a scholarship for orchestral music by the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. From 1994 she was an assistant conductor at the Budapest Festival Orchestra for two years, and from 1994 she is the second flutist of the Hungarian State Opera House Orchestra. Since 2012 she is a teacher at the Vienna Conservatory Budapest and a music therapist at the Flór Ferenc Hospital in Kistarcsa.
