Zsófia Kamilla Persanyi was born on the 3rd of August, 1999 in Budapest. She is a Hungarian pianist and composer, who is also active as a chamber musician, accompanist and teacher.

She earned her BA degrees in piano and composition from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, and is currently pursuing a Master's in piano at Royal Academy of Music Aarhus. She studied with Søren Rastogi, Martin Qvist Hansen, Henrik Brendstrup, Péter Nagy, Péter Tornyai, Márta Gulyás, Rita Wagner, Gábor Csalog, Gábor Monostori, András Szalai and Marco Stroppa.

She is a prize holder in several international competitions and grants, including 3rd prize at the International Béla Bartók Piano Competition and ,,New National Excellence'' scholarship in 2022, with the research topic ''Musical Chromaticism''.

She holds a special interest in exploring the connection between visual and audible arts, as well as synesthesia among composers.

2022 - Analysis and presentation of the musical chromaticism – a study and a concert based on works by Bach, Mozart, Scriabin, Schönberg, Berg and Webern

2022 - Two Piano Roundtrip – the second part of the above mentioned two piano project, including five concerts in different venues: in Budapest, Debrecen and Balatonfüred.

2020 - Works for two pianos from the XX-XXI. century – a cooperative project with hungarian contemporary composers, alongside with hungarian premier of B. A. Zimmermann’s Monologe
