Ildikó Rozsonits was born in 2006 in Budapest. She was introduced to the flute at the age of four, and her talent was already apparent, so her parents took her to flutist Réka Kassai, with whom she studied for six months at the first-year music school, and with whom she studied until 2014. From 2012 to 2014, she attended the Annie Fischer Music School in Budapest, District XIII, with Ildikó Fekete as her teacher. From 2014 to 2016 she studied at the Zoltán Kodály Vocal Music Primary School, Secondary School and Music AMI in Marczibányi Square with Enikő Turós.
In 2016, at the age of 10, she was admitted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music's School for Extraordinary Talents, where she studied with Gábor Eckhardt (2016-2023), Mariann Marczi (2016-2018), and subsequently with Attila Némethy from 2022 and Gábor Farkas from 2023. Since then, she has participated and won prizes in several international piano competitions (Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium).
In 2014, she won the first prize at the VI Ferenc Farkas Piano Competition and the special professional prize. Two years later, she also won first prize and the Magda Veroszta Special Prize at the XIV National Piano Competition in Nyíregyháza. In 2017, she participated in the XXII Carl Filtsch International Piano Competition in Romania and also came first. In the same year, she also took the absolute first prize at the XII Ars Nova Trieste International Music Festival. In 2018, she was the best in three competitions (XIII Internationaler Klavierwettbewerb Jugend in Essen, Germany: 1st prize (11-13 years old) / III Danubia Talents International Music Competition Vác, Hungary: 1st prize + special prize (2004+ age group) / 51. Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic: 1st prize + special prize (2004+ age group), and second prize at the V. Takács Jenő International Piano Competition. In 2019, she was first prize winner and Bartók special prize winner at the VI. International Béla Bartók Piano Competition in Austria and second prize winner at the VII. In 2020, she won the IMF Paris International Piano Competition, the PianoTalents 2020 International Piano Competition Milano online competitions and in 2020, she won the Virtuosi V4+ talent competition, which was broadcast in 5 countries.
She has appeared on the M5 cultural channel, Bartók Radio, BMC, MÜPA and the Liszt Academy. On 16 June 2018, she performed Mozart's Piano Concerto in K 414 in A major with the Szent István Király Symphony Orchestra of the Zugló Philharmonic Orchestra at the Pesti Vigadó in Budapest.
On 10 October 2019, she performed with the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Liszt Academy. From 2020, she will regularly participate in the masterclasses of Professor Philippe Raskin at the Friedrich Gulda Music School in Vienna. In addition, she has participated in masterclasses in Hungary and abroad with such renowned artists as Eliane Reyes, István Székely, Andrei Ivanovitch, Elisabeth Väth-Schadler, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Andreas Fröhlich, Vincenzo Balzani, János Balázs, Gergely Bogányi, Diane Andersen, Boaz Sharon, Dénes Várjon, Kálmán Dráfi, Toms Ostrovskis and Steven Spooner.
In 2021, she placed at the EPTA Rencontres Internatiolnales des Jeunes Pianistes in Brussels and at the Carl Maria von Weber International Piano Competition in Dresden, and was awarded the Concorde Prize. In 2022, she was awarded the Zoltán Kocsis Young Talent Scholarship, established by the Kocsi-Hauser Foundation, and the Junior Prima Prize. In 2024 she was given the Creative Artist Prize of Cziffra Festival.
