Domonkos Péter Hartmann was born in the 18th of March 1999. He started his studies in the primary music shool of Veszprém. In 2014 he won the Csermák Prize. Then he studied in the Bartók Conservatory in Budapest. He graduated in 2018 as a pupil of Krisztina Kemény, Ditta Rohmann and István Varga.

After graduating he studies now at Music Academy of Vienna (Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst), where one of his professors is Isván Várdai. He has taken part at competitions and many times received an award. In 2018 he won the first prize of Jan Vychytil International Cello Competition in Prague and also the first prize of Danubia Talents International Music Competiton in Vác. He took the first place of Talents for Europe International Competition. He was invited to Kaposfeszt in 2019. He is a member of Kamara Akadémia Egyesület. He was choosen for classical music ambassador of Rotary Club in 2019. In 2020 the Annie Fischer Scholarship (divided) has been granted to him.
