Árpád Amirás was born and studied music in Budapest. He was a student of Miklós Perényi at the Academy of Music and later played with his high school teacher Zsolt Puskás in the Radio Orchestra. From 2019 he is the cello soloist of the Radio Orchestra. He has also played in chamber orchestras for many years. He is a regular performer on the national and international music scene.
