Miranda Liu

Miranda Liu, a multiple competition winner, has given hundreds of concerts to date as a soloist in competition pieces, a concert soloist, a chamber musician, and a concertmaster in numerous countries around the world. Among others, she has been a regular performer at such prestigious concert halls as Carnegie Hall in New York, Verizon Hall in Philadelphia, the Mozartsaal at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, the Budapest Music Center, and Müpa, as well as the Wiener Saal in Salzburg. At the age of 14, she was already an undergraduate student at the Mozarteum University. Miranda Liu was admitted to the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 2013, joining Eszter Perényi’s class. She graduated summa cum laude in 2015 and earned her master’s degree in 2017. Since 2016, she has served as concertmaster of the Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra. She was an Erasmus scholar on two occasions, during which she studied under András Keller as a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
