Krisztián Kurucz studied at the Liszt Ferenc Music School and the Mihály Táncsics Mihály High School in Kaposvár, as well as at the Zoltán Kodály Secondary School of Music in Kecskemét. He graduated from the Liszt Ferenc University of Music in Budapest.

He has performed at several festivals, including the Zemplén Festival. He is a founding member of the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra and cellist of the Óbuda Danubia Orchestra.
