Fejérvári Zoltán

He started his music studies at the age of eight. Between 2000 and 2005 he was student of the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music; from 2006 to 2008 he studied with a scholarship at Madrid's Escuela Superior de Musica where his professors were Dmitri Baskirov and Claudio Martinez Mehner. At present he is a student of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest where he learns with András Kemenes, Dénes Várjon and Rita Wagner.
During the years he has participated in several international music festivals: the Piano Festival of Tiszadob, the Encuentro de Música de Santander, the Chateauroux - Listomania, the IMS Prussia Cove.
In 2010 he won 2nd prize at the Manchester International Concerto Competition for Young Pianists. As a soloist he has performed with several Hungarian orchestras, like the Telekom Symphony Orchestra (Concerto Budapest), the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the Budapest Strings.
He won the first prize at the CMIM piano competition. In 2024 he has been given the Ferenc Liszt Prize.
