He was born in Budapest in 1977. After finishing his studies at Béla Bartók Conservatory he studied at Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in the class of Dénes Kovács. He received his diploma as a violinist and teacher in 2002. The same year he was accepted to the DLA faculty of the academy, which he finished in 2006.
He took the third then the second place at the national János Koncz Violin Competition and attended master classes held by Dénes Zsigmondy and Tibor Varga. As a soloist he performed at different radio and Tv productions several times.
Since 2001 he has played in many Hungarian and foreign chamber orchestras. He is a founding member of the Budapest Sextet established in 2003. Other founding members of the sextet are: Béla Bánfalvi, László Bársony, Péter Bársony, Csaba Onczay and Zoltán Onczay. He has been teaching at the Musical Institute of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Pécs as the assistant lecturer of Béla Bánfalvi.
