Judit Paczolay was born in Cegléd in 1980. At the age of 9, after two years of playing the flute, she started to play the flute with Ildikó Pócz. She continued her studies at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music in Béla Békéscsaba with Eszter Alföldy-Boruss, then at the Váci Secondary School of Music with Gergely Ittzés. She was subsequently accepted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in the class of Lóránt Kovács, where she graduated in 2003. During her college years she attended master classes by artists such as Auréle Nicolet, András Adorján and Paula Robison. In 1998 she gave a recital at the Márványterem of the Hungarian Radio. As a member of the school's symphony orchestra, she has also performed at the Concert Gebauw in Amsterdam.
She started teaching at the János Richter Music Secondary School, at the same time the TeTraVERSI flute quartet was formed, of which she was a founding member, together with Gergely Ittzés and his former students Evelin Balog and Katalin Nagy. As an orchestral musician, she has often performed with the Óbuda Danubia Orchestra and the New Hungarian Music Association (UMZE).
